Before you begin

Welcome to the City of Belmont online grant system (SmartyGrants).

Navigating (moving) through the application form

  • Use the Navigation box to move between pages.
  • Use ‘next’ and ‘previous’ to go forward or back.

Saving your draft application

  • Click ‘save and close’ to finish later.
  • Find your draft under ‘My Submissions’.
  • You can download a PDF from the last page.

Submitting your application

  • Click ‘Review and Submit’.
  • Complete all required questions.
  • Once submitted, you cannot make changes.
  • You will receive a confirmation email. 
  • If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email then you should presume that your submission has NOT been submitted.

Hint: also check the email hasn't landed in your spam or junk email folder.

Attachments and supporting documents

  • You may need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. This is very simple, but requires you to have the documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device.
  • Maximum 25MB per file (5MB recommended).
